Jewish Heroines Through the Ages:
Ma'ayan Presents
The MaTaN Bat Mitzvah Program*
The MaTaN Mother-Daughter Bat Mitzvah Program transforms girls' perspective of becoming a Bat Mitzvah and entering Jewish womanhood by exploring a variety of role-models, offering young women not one but many paradigms of the "ideal" Jewish woman. The Mother-Daughter Bat Mitzvah Program allows young women and their mothers to navigate this life-passage together and encourages the Bat Mitzvah girl to build an adult identity rooted in Jewish sources.
