
Rivka Werner
5787 Emerging Scholar Fellow
Rivka Werner is currently studying in Yeshiva University’s GPATS program, pursuing an MA in Biblical and Talmudic Interpretation. After a year in Nishmat’s Shana Ba’aretz program, she earned a summa cum laude Honours BSc in Neuroscience from York University, where she was a Schulich Leader Scholar. She is also an alumna of the Nachshon Fellowship at Hebrew University and the Beren Summer Fellowship at the Tikvah Fund, and currently serves as a Sacks Research Scholar at Yeshiva University. Rivka loves sharing Torah and has taught in various shuls throughout the USA and Canada. She is excited to join the Ma’ayan community and looks forward to further developing her pedagogical skills under the guidance of its expert mentors. Rivka lives on the Upper West Side with her husband, Shlomo.
